A bitter sweet comedy about growing up, stylishly shot in black and white. Two 14 year-old boys get the chance to spend a whole day all by themselves at home playing video games and eating junk food. The electricity company, a disruptive girl from next door, a melancholy pizza delivery man, eleven seconds, the Real Madrid-Manchester game, some chocolate brownies and a horrible painting of ducks, all combine to break the harmony of what promised to be a placid Sunday, and reveal issues such as the parents' divorce, loneliness, the confusion between adolescent love and friendship, as well as frustration in adult life.
Sun 27 May @ 4pm Salisbury Arts Centre (Cafe & Bar open from 3pm).
Tickets £5. Booking: ONLINE By Phone: 01722 321 744 or on the door. |
